Our annual toy and book drive for the Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children is back! In past years we have filled the pool table with items for these incredible children. What gift would you like to receive if you had a long-term stay at a hospital?
Drop by Ken’s this month to donate an unwrapped new toy or book for a child of any age up to 18. The hospital gives these gifts to the appropriate patients as they are admitted.

Hanukkah Is Early This Year
Hanukkah begins Thursday, December 7th, and we have many great gift items for all eight days of the holiday!

Branding Has Its Purpose
Believe it or not, I met this stylish man while out on a hike in a remote part of Maryland! He was walking onto the trail just as we were finishing our hike.
I stopped him to chat about his hiking attire, and he said he dresses like this every single day and gets approached frequently. When people ask about his unique outfit, he takes the opportunity to give them his equally unique business card. It turns out he is actually a wildlife photographer, and as you can see from his Instagram account, he has quite an eye!
I am speaking at a conference in the spring of 2024, and I will be mentioning this man as a prime example of how we are all our own personal brand.
