2024: The Year of Reflection and Growth
As we enter our 60th year, I have been reflecting on our role in the community and in your lives. What has made Ken’s so special for the last seven decades is you. Our relationships with you. Your trust and your friendship. Getting dressed is very personal. Ken’s has been with you through the joys of life: births, marriages, and new jobs. We’ve also been there for the losses. There are many occasions when we need new clothes, and we aim to be there for all of them.
After all, as Mark Twain wrote: “Clothes make the man. Naked people have little or no influence on society.”
Your influence is felt everywhere you go, before you utter a word. Knowing you helps us be better haberdashers. Sure, we know your measurements and the little changes that happen to your body in between visits. We also have learned your preferences for buttons, collar style, fabrics, and more. Your pastimes, your family, the way you travel… these all play a key role in the attire we recommend specifically for you.
This is what we mean when we say “service”. It comes from a deep understanding of you, your desires, your present, past, and future. As we move forward into our 60th year as a second-generation small business, we will remember you. And we can’t wait to meet and know your next generation as well.
Can’t wait to wish you a Happy New Year in person!
