At this time of year, I like to send gentle reminders about the parking situation. It is not just here, but any shopping area of Dallas in December.
The best times to shop at Ken’s are 10:00am until 11:45, and then again after 2:30pm.
For easier parking, we suggest you try the south door first (the one at Royal Lane).

The work uniform has been shifting more and more casual since 2020, especially when it comes to pants. However, few men are aware of the massive gap between a jean, a 5-pocket pant, and a stretch trouser. I want to help you understand the difference, so you can choose your bottoms with confidence. Let’s begin with the latter.
Our jersey Brax pant, or any super stretch pant that has an overly casual appearance should not be paired with a dress sport coat. The top is saying I’m elevating my dress wear, and the bottoms say meet me at the golf course. Save these comfortable pants for more casual days.

Don’t discount denim! Pick any dark dressy jean without distressed details and they easily pair with our sport coats. We offer many hues to complement your jackets: blues, greys, earth tones, charcoal, and black. Effortlessly style them with your Eton dress shirts or Hagen sport shirts. You may have noticed me in this look. Sometimes I add a textured or patterned tie to round out the ensemble.
We aren’t saying drop your dress slacks. We’re saying that when you’re not meeting with clients, you may want to modernize your wardrobe.

TSRH Toy Drive
The Book and Toy Drive has officially kicked off this year! We are so excited to be partnering again with the Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children. Our neighbor, The Toy Maven, is giving a 10% discount to anyone buying a gift for these kids!
My father, Ken Helfman, started this charity drive 30 years ago. We began with toys, and then added books a couple of years later. These gifts are distributed all year round, not just during the Christmas season. Your donation does make an impact!
The items must be unwrapped and unopened for us to donate to the hospital.
Stop in during business hours to drop off your donation. We thank you for your contribution to one of our favorite charities!
