The Holiday Season Is Beginning Anew
We have ordered many new and different items throughout the haberdashery to arrive in November and December this year! All of these will be great additions to your wardrobe and make fantastic gifts for this season and beyond.
Our Cologne Bar Is Expanding
We are launching For Centuries cologne for men the first week of November! We have had the tester here, and many clients are already on the list to purchase it. The box has a bi-wing opening that presents the unique bottle, which features a dress shirt and tie.
This cologne will come in both a 100ml and 50ml size. It has three distinctive layers that continue to evolve and open throughout the day. This is the first cologne I have ever worn that stays on for over twelve hours without being overwhelming! Bergamot and vanilla are the top notes, with an oud and spice in the middle, and then soft woody notes in the base. The 100ml bottle can give a gent over a thousand sprays, and a little goes a long way.
It’s Swacket Season
We introduced Distretto 12 when they launched last year, and for this season they’ve sent us their swacket in both classic blue-grey and mocha-navy. This is the perfect travel jacket that doesn’t wrinkle, hugs the body, feels great on, and goes with a multitude of shirt styles.
The swacket is best with jeans, 5-pocket trousers, and plain-front cotton pants or cords. What we love most is the versatility of the swacket to go from business to personal occasions in the blink of an eye.

As you can see above, we’ve already got an impressive selection of items for the new season, but here’s a look at what is on the horizon for our little family haberdashery.
We are bringing back one of our original jewelry makers to the shop! We will make an announcement the moment these pieces arrive — your wrists will thank us later.
We have had an impressive selection of Articl3 limited edition pieces this year, and they’ve saved the best for last! We will be showcasing knits, polos, outerwear, and more over the next couple of months. Many of these pieces are limited edition, so be sure to contact your haberdasher to reserve yours.
Ken’s always tries to stock many types of accessories. This fall and winter we will be doubling down on gloves, beanies, fedoras, and household lounge wear like robes and slippers.
We are excited for you to wear these and more.

It is unbelievable that we have been with Partners Card for 33 years! It is always wonderful to know that we can help The Family Place change lives for the better. One Partners Card provides a family violence survivor with room and board for a day, plus assistance with a new beginning for their future. The Family Place is often the only option for someone in a family violence situation, so we are thrilled and grateful that the Partners Card initiative grows each year.
Last year’s Partners Card purchases provided the following:
- 42,140 nights of emergency shelter
- 20,805 nights of transitional housing
- 4,480 hours of counseling
- 6,970 hours of case management
- 6,601 hours of court‑ordered psychoeducational groups for batterers
Service and community are not a slogan for us. A Partners Card week like this illustrates exactly what those words mean. Thank you to all of our Ken’s clients, and to Dallas for showing up again.
