Father’s Day 2026
Father’s Day this year is on Sunday, June 21st.
One of the great privileges of being in this business for over thirty years in a sixty-plus year haberdashery is witnessing the relationships that unfold across generations. We have watched sons become fathers, fathers become grandfathers, and young men return years later with families of their own.
Over the decades, countless fathers and sons, and grandfathers and grandsons, have walked through our doors together. Sometimes they are preparing for a graduation, a first interview, a wedding, a new career, or simply a special occasion. Often, they are just spending time together.
Clothing alone does not create character. Yet learning how to present yourself well, to show respect for yourself and for others, remains one of life’s enduring lessons.
That is why the best Father’s Day gifts are rarely the biggest or most expensive. They are thoughtful. They are personal. They become part of everyday life and over time, part of a memory.
Perhaps it is a summer tee that becomes his favorite piece to wear with shorts on the weekend, or with a jacket in the evening. Maybe it is a refined polo that takes him beyond the golf course, a soft jacket that works for dinner and travel, a handcrafted belt that improves with age, or an Eton shirt that quietly becomes the one he reaches for first.

The Summer Tee
Few categories have evolved more over the last several years than the luxury t-shirt.

Once viewed almost entirely as too casual, the modern elevated tee has become one of the most versatile pieces in a gentleman’s wardrobe.
The right tee today can work in a variety of ways:
- under a soft sport coat
- with a lightweight overshirt
- beneath a linen jacket
- with summer outerwear
- with a pair of Deke shorts
- or entirely on its own.
The key is balance. The fit should feel clean without being overly tight. The fabric should have enough structure to maintain shape throughout the day while remaining breathable during the Texas summer months.
More importantly, the tee should feel purposeful.
A great summer tee works because it simplifies dressing while still maintaining refinement.
We continue seeing gentlemen pair luxury tees with tailored trousers, refined denim, soft jackets, loafers, clean sneakers, and lightweight outerwear in ways that feel modern yet timeless.
Comfort and sophistication no longer have to compete with one another. The best wardrobes today accomplish both simultaneously.
Vivek Nagrani and Articl3
Last month we had the privilege of hosting Vivek Nagrani and showcasing his evolving Articl3 collection here at the shop.
Many of our clients immediately connected with his new approach to menswear today, with thoughtful fabrics, purposeful design, understated luxury, and clothing designed to move naturally within modern life.

Finding Your Polo Style
We have been creating custom polos for over ten years now. Many of our gents literally have dozens of these knits. They enjoy a 100% cotton pique or jersey fabric with wicking. This adds to the coolness of the fabric, without turning into a synthetic garment.
What is most enjoyable is to be able to create one’s own style with each polo. Do I want a pocket or a faux pocket? Do I want it to be a bit shorter to only wear untucked? Would I enjoy a hidden button-down collar? Would I like to add a Ken’s loop to the front of the shirt so my sunglasses can hang appropriately? There are so many wonderful choices when creating something for yourself.
We also enjoy surprising many gents who believe that they are too short, too wide, or too tall to fit — we are able to create these polos in almost any size!
